Lakepointe office park

This planned suburban office park in Charlotte, North Carolina, the largest concentration of major employers outside of Center City Charlotte, relied on an extensive inventory and analysis of natural features to dictate the layout of building sites and circulation for pedestrians and vehicles. The project includes a natural ravine and stream developed into a dramatic waterfall at the main entry.

Lakes and significant stands of mature trees have been preserved on wide roadway medians and surrounding building sites. A network of pedestrian walkways linking the eight building sites to the open spaces adds to the strong character of the award-winning project and encourages activity and interaction during the workday.
