The Lovett School

In collaboration with Shepley Bulfinch of Boston, HGOR provided design and construction document services for The Lovett School’s new middle school.

The site plan addressed building surrounds, a north play area and a roof garden, as well as overall landscape improvements. Environmental education on campus is enhanced through a water cistern and runnel system in the roof garden that catches stormwater from the building’s upper level that then flows across the roof garden and collects in a ground-level cistern.

The north play area provides students with basketball, four square and an amphitheater complemented by a unique art mural.
