Rowen: Environmental Stewardship on an $8B Scale
Recently, Soyini Coke, host of the Capitalism Done Right podcast, sat down with Bob Hughes, Founding Partner & Principal at HGOR, and Mason Ailstock, CEO of Rowen Foundation to talk about the massive 2,000 acres of rural land in eastern Gwinnett County that they are transforming into the region's next hub for jobs, research, and innovation with sustainability and environmental stewardship as the cornerstone.
Plans for the 2,000+ acres in Gwinnett County, Georgia, will provide nearly 55,000 jobs at 50% buildout and up to 100,000 at full buildout.
Mason Ailstock, President of the Rowen Foundation, revealed estimates for ongoing economic impact to be $3.8 billion by 2035, $6.6 billion by 2050, the project's 50% buildout target date, and $11.3 billion upon completion. With proximity to Fortune 1000 companies and researchers from over 50 nearby research institutions, the Rowen project will activate scientific progress and transformation, possibly impacting the world with its discoveries.
