Glenwood Park
Glenwood Park
Street design, including narrowed space for vehicles and expanded sidewalks for ease of pedestrian circulation,
encouraged the City of Atlanta to modify its overall design parameters.
HGOR provided landscape architecture services for all public areas of the 28-acre Glenwood Park community. Based upon new urbanist principles, HGOR collaborated with Dover, Koal & Partners Town Planning to ensure public spaces and streetscape design supported the master plan and the proposed BeltLine Innercity Transit Line. Featured public areas include a 2-acre oval park that serves a dual function - as the center of residential life for the community and the master stormwater pond for the entire development.
