BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s 950,000 sf campus-style corporate office is designed around an ethos of sustainability. sustainability. By building “green,” they created a quality work environment for almost 4,000 employees, emphasizing the important link between public health, well-being and our natural environment. With careful management and integration of stormwater, an appealing water element is featured through three major garden spaces and a central courtyard.

Strategically located at the campus entrance, the living garden exemplifies the company’s commitment to living well and community involvement. Proceeds from the sale of produce support a local food bank.
