Chris focuses on stimulating organizations and shaping productive work environments by applying business-minded planning and design decisions to every project.
Chris Mutter is an industry leader with a strong business mind who strives to create the ideal workspace environment for some of the nation's leading corporate campuses, including Coca-Cola, Cox Enterprises, Spanx, Time Warner, UPS, Lowe's, and Turner Entertainment. Serving as Design Team Leader and Principal in Charge of such diverse corporate, commercial and institutional building typologies, Chris' approach inspires and integrates unique ideas and innovative concepts of team members from all disciplines.
Chris believes in listening to the desires and needs of our clients and seeks to build programs based on in-depth analyses of how those plans support the culture and productivity of the client's company. He is passionate about elevating spaces to create a stimulating environment for the end user, ultimately maximizing the human experience.
Current Project: State-of-the-art mixed-use studio environment Assembly Atlanta features iconic elements, amenitized space including a stormwater feature and themed architecture along a network of boardwalks and trails. This project will employ over 4,000 people and serve as Atlanta's largest purpose-built film and television studio. Phase I of this project opened in October of 2023, while Phase II is in progress and will include an e-gaming facility, convention center, full-service and boutique hotels, flexible office and event space, a variety of housing, dining establishments, retail and a unique non-denominational chapel.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Chris attended the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology in 1995 and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1999. Mutter currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
