The Georgia State University Library is an academic research library which sought out the services of Collins Cooper Carusi Architects and HGOR for renovations of an existing plaza. The Library has two primary locations, Library North and Library South, which are located centrally to Georgia State’s main campus.
The renovation established an easier transition between the library and the new campus greenway. The renovations include a rooftop terrace with pavers and a remarkably designed landscape, which provide the ideal place for studying or enjoying solace in a comfortable space with views of the city at every angle. Featuring nearly 100 seats and 23 tables, access to the terrace is from the 2nd floor of Library North.
