Promenade
Constructed in the early 1980s by Cousins Properties, Promenade features a large and popular garden area originally designed by HGOR. Though it boasts a prime location in Midtown Atlanta, Promenade, a 400,000 sf office tower lacked a strong entry presence and sense of connectivity with its surrounding urban environment.
HGOR was hired to assist in major renovations to re-energize the dated exteriors. The new design transforms an automobile drop-off into a pedestrian-orientated entry and plaza. Material choices provide a light, bright and clean quality to the north side entry, while the design promotes seating, gathering and enhanced unity to the Woodruff Arts Center across 15th Street.
