UGA Reed Plaza
University of Georgia Reed Plaza
At the heart of UGA, patrons and students enjoy a multi-functional amenity at the campus’ historic Sanford Stadium. Supporting both game day events and non-event days, the design transforms over three acres of unorganized vehicular-dominated space to a pedestrian oriented mall connecting East Campus Road and the Tate Student Center.
On game day, the plaza serves as a comfortable, vibrant, lower-level concourse with new restroom facilities, a twenty-one window concession building and several areas for freestanding vendor opportunities. On non-game days, the plaza becomes a public space for various student life activities.
